1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Terra Greens. By accessing our website, using our "Savings Calculator," or booking a site survey, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

 

2. Services Provided

​

Terra Greens specializes in:

  • Solar Rooftop Installation: Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of On-Grid, Off-Grid, and Hybrid solar power plants.

  • Liaisoning: Assisting customers with PM-Surya Ghar Yojana registration and Net-Metering approvals with local DISCOMs (e.g., MVVNL, UPPCL).

  • Maintenance: Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and cleaning services.

 

3. Accuracy of "Savings Calculator"

The results generated by the Solar Savings Calculator on our website are estimates only based on standard assumptions (average sunlight in Uttar Pradesh, current tariff rates, and optimal roof orientation).

  • Not a Binding Quote: The calculator result is not a final price. The final commercial quote will be provided only after a physical Site Survey and 3D Shadow Analysis by our engineers.

  • Generation Variance: Actual solar generation varies based on weather, shadow patterns, and panel cleanliness. We do not guarantee the exact "Zero Bill" figures shown in the estimator, though we strive for 95% accuracy.

 

4. Government Subsidy & Approvals

Terra Greens acts as a facilitator for government subsidies and net-metering.

  • No Guarantee on Timeline: While we handle the paperwork for the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) subsidy (e.g., ₹78,000 for 3kW), the final approval and disbursement timeline depend entirely on the Government of India and state DISCOMs. Terra Greens is not liable for delays caused by government processing.

  • Eligibility: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their electricity connection is legal and eligible for net-metering (e.g., the meter must be in the applicant's name).

5. Payment Terms

​

Unless otherwise agreed in a specific sales contract, our standard payment schedule is:

  • 10% Advance: Booking Amount to freeze price and schedule survey.

  • 60% Payment: Upon delivery of major materials (Panels, Inverter, Structure) to your site.

  • 20% Payment: Upon completion of physical installation.

  • 10% Payment: Upon submission of the Net-Metering file to the DISCOM.

Late payments may attract an interest charge of 1.5% per month.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Pre-Site Survey: If you cancel before the physical site survey, 100% of the booking amount is refundable.

  • Post-Material Dispatch: Once materials (Panels/Structure) have been dispatched to your location, orders cannot be cancelled.

 

7. Warranty & Liability​

​

  • Product Warranty: Solar panels and inverters carry warranties directly from the manufacturer (typically 25 years performance for panels, 5–10 years for inverters). Terra Greens assists in claiming these warranties but is not the manufacturer.

  • Workmanship Warranty: Terra Greens provides a 5-Year Service Warranty on the installation quality (wiring, structure stability).

  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for damage caused by "Acts of God" (e.g., earthquakes, extreme cyclones beyond structural design limits) or theft.

 

8. User Obligations

To ensure a safe installation, the customer agrees to:

  • Provide safe access to the roof for our technicians.

  • Secure necessary "No Objection Certificates" (NOC) from Housing Societies or neighbors if required.

  • Ensure the roof structure is sound (unless structural reinforcement is part of our scope).

 

9. Governing Law

​

These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
